Counties Manukau Badminton Association ran a Shuttle Time Teacher & Youth Leadership course over the weekend. The course was a great opportunity to learn, share ideas and gain confidence to teach our Tamariki and Rangitahi the basics of Badminton in a fun and inclusive way. Thank you to our Shuttle Time Tutors Ned Wanoa and Yanyu Huang for sharing your knowledge and passion to the next generation of coaches.

Great start to the morning with Auckland Councillor Daniel Newman, KTS President Vineetha Uthamaputhiran and Dave Davies from Counties Manukau Badminton Association down at the opening of the KTS Cup in Papakura with 24 badminton teams this morning. Good luck to all the players!

Meet your 2026 New Zealand World Junior Team!

Congratulations to the eight players selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 VICTOR BWF World Junior Championships in Cairo, Egypt! 🏸

The team will take on the world’s best junior athletes in the Suhandinata Cup (Team Event) before competing in the Individual Championships this October.

Representing New Zealand is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of this group. 💙

Congratulations to our Counties Northern Region Senior Division 1 team who are on top of the table & remain unbeaten this season. Great work team & Good luck for the last tie coming up next month.

Results so far: Counties beat Waikato 4: 7-5, Waitakere 5: 11-1, BOP 2: 8-4 & Northland: 10-2. GO COUNTIES

Well done to our Counties Super Vets team for winning their last two ties down in Oroua over the weekend. They are currently sitting 4th on the table with 2 more ties to go! Lets go Counties!
