Hello team,

Due to the red heavy rain warning currently in effect for Wellington, we’ve made the decision to cancel tonight’s class. While Porirua may not be as severely impacted, your safety is our top priority. I’d much rather everyone stay safe and off the roads, allowing emergency and first responders to do their work without added traffic—especially since we have people coming in from all parts of the city.

Please take care of yourselves at home this evening. If you’re up for it, you could do a few push-ups, lift some weights, get in a bit of Yoga, or just take the opportunity to rest and stay warm and dry.

Thank you for your understanding—I really appreciate it. Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.

Folks, official last class of the year tomorrow night, Monday 22nd. First class back will be Monday the 5th January 2026. Sadly, this is more than likely the last time we will officially have Ioka Junior Simeona & Joy Hunter on the mat together.

Possibility of a few rolling sessions during the break, keep an eye on the page.
