🏐 DAY 1 & 2 for our Netball team and… WHAT. A. START! 💪🔥

The girls have hit the court with determination, teamwork and plenty of heart — and the results speak for themselves! 💙🏐

SUNDAY | Day 1
Our first match was against Pompallier Catholic College, and the girls got off to a flying start with a convincing 29–0 win! 🙌

The second match saw us take on Te Wharekura o Manaia, where the team delivered another impressive performance, coming away with a 32–9 victory! 🔥

MONDAY | Day 2
The momentum continued into Monday with another strong performance against Wainui School, finishing with a huge 40–3 win! 👏

Our final match of the day was against Baradene College of the Sacred Heart, and this one proved to be a much tougher contest. The girls held strong, dug deep and showed incredible composure to secure a hard-fought 21–15 win! 💪💙

🏆 TOP 64! 🏆

With these results, our netball team has battled their way into the Top 64 schools, from a field of 132 schools! 🎉

The tournament is only going to get tougher from here, but if these first two days are anything to go by, these girls are READY! 💪🔥

🏉 RIP Rugby – Day 1 Complete! 🏉

What a day of rip rugby! 💪🔥 Three tough pool games, plenty of learning, and some fantastic moments from the team.

🔴 Match 1 – John Paul College
After going into half time down 1–4, the team showed great fight and determination to come storming back. A narrow 4–5 loss — so close! 👏

🟢 Match 2 – St Mary’s Catholic School (Putāruru)
Our best performance of the day! 🙌 The team played some excellent rip rugby to secure a convincing 6–1 win. Fantastic effort from everyone!

🔵 Match 3 – Ross Intermediate School
Up against the top team in the pool, the players faced a tough challenge and went down 0–10. Plenty to learn from against a very strong side.

📊 The goal now: We’re aiming to finish 3rd or 4th in our pool, which will see us qualify for the 33rd–64th placing out of 100 teams.

Tomorrow we finish off pool play — time to regroup, reset and give it everything! 💪🏉

Last night was ‘hype night’ at the Opening Ceremony! The Games are well and truly underway 🥳💪

Our RIP Rugby team headed to Ashurst today for another tournament in preparation for AIMS Games! 🏉

The standard was high, including last year’s AIMS Games finalist. While we didn’t get a win, the improvement from our last tournament was huge! Our defence is finding shape and we’re moving the ball much better in attack.

🏉 Paremata School Rip Rugby Mini-Tournament Recap! 🏉

Today at Ngati Toa Domain, our team took on some fierce competition, facing off against Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Rito, Levin Intermediate, and Maidstone Intermediate. While we didn’t secure a win, the effort and improvement from our players—some of whom are new to rip rugby—were truly commendable.

A huge congratulations to Levin Intermediate for their undefeated run and victory in the final against Te Rito! 🌟
