Porirua City Aquatics (a non profit incorporated society) is a community based swimming club. We are committed to providing our members with the essential life skill and enjoyment of swimming. We aim to ensure that all members have the opportunity to develop this skill as far as they wish to, in either a competitive or non-competitive sense. π€π§‘π Congratulations to all 100 plus swimmers who got involved in the PCA In-house league which finished last night with the thrilling 3rd session.
The final results are as follows,
First place Team 3 with 611 points
Second place Team 6 with 594 points
Third place Team 4 with 572 points
Forth place Team 1 with 529 points
Fifth place Team 2 with 515 points
Sixth place Team 5 with 484 points
Thanks to all the parents that helped out over the 3 sessions, we cant run these events without you.

π€π§‘πDon't forget to get those entries in for the Tawa Swimming Club Inc and PCA Chocolate Fish National Qualifier swim meet on Saturday 12th September at Te Ngaengae Pool, Naenae.
Entries close on Sunday 6th September.
This meet is open to all our club and squad swimmers, especially those looking to achieve qualifying times for national events.

Don't worry, If you are not in a team its not too late to join. Just show up and we will get you swimming.

π€ππ§‘Cannons Creek Pool was abuzz yesterday with 155 swimmers taking part in the Parumoana Interschool Swimming Sports for years 4, 5 and 6 hosted by Porirua City Aquatics, Dash Swim School and Easyswim Swim School. The Parumoana area, includes, Paremata, Plimmerton, Pauatahanui, Postgate, Discovery, Adventure, Papakowhai, Pukerua Bay and Rangikura schools.
Plimmerton School took out top spot winning the cup with 211 points, Papakowhai School came in second with 202 points and Adventure school picking up third place with 138 points.
It take a village to make these events happen, a big thank you to Easyswim Swim School, Dash Swim School and all the our PCA family who helped run the event. These types of events dont happen without you all.π§‘ππ€

π€π§‘π What a way to finish the Swimming Wellington Short Course Champs with bringing home the Top Club points trophy in a hotly contested race with 2302 points across this meet and the distance champs last month. Every swimmer who finished top 10 in their race at both meets brings home points, so everyone who competed earnt this. Well done team!
In more exciting news, congratulations to Nathaniel Wood, who yesterday lowered his New Zealand record in the 400 medley, S10 catagory. Congratulations Nathaniel. ππ§‘π€

π€π§‘π Session 4 of 4 completed. What a great weekend for our swimmers and families. Lots of smiles, PBs, placings, top 10 finishes and NZSC qualifying times achieved . Congratulations to you all.
A massive thank you to all our parents who helped out with time keeping, been a Team Manager, IOT, JOS, referee, Meet Director, medal presenters, and announcer. The kids cant swim without you all helping. ππ§‘π€
