MOTUEKA AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB – AGM NOMINATIONS

As we prepare for our Annual General Meeting on Monday 24 August 2026, nominations are invited for the Club’s elected officers for the coming year.

Nominations are being sought for:

• President/Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer

Anyone wishing to stand for one of these positions is invited to submit a nomination.

Each nomination must be supported by a nominator and seconder, and the nominee must agree to stand for the position.

Nominations close Friday 14 August 2026.

Where more than one nomination is received for a position, an election will be held at the AGM in accordance with the Club Constitution. Where only one nomination is received, members will vote to confirm that nominee.

👏 Our MASTER Athlete Selwyn Barron was over the moon to receive a personalised shirt along with his certificate! He is looking forward to turning 90 and breaking the Masters record for Javelin next season👏

I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this season so successful!

To our athletes — congratulations on an incredible season. Your hard work, determination, and commitment have been amazing to watch, and you should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved.

To our parents — thank you for your ongoing support, encouragement, and stepping in to help us when needed!

And to our coaches — your dedication, passion, and the countless hours you volunteer for our athletes does not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to support and guide our kids.

As a club, we continue to grow and strive each season. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to building on this momentum again next season.
