Looking for a rewarding summer job? We're now recruiting Pool Lifeguards for the 2026/2027 summer season at Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre, as well as our outdoor pools Jubilee Pool and Whiteside Pool.

Our Lifeguard Supervisors recently completed refresher training in CPR, oxygen therapy, and defibrillator (AED) use to ensure their skills remain sharp and up to date.

Training like this helps our team stay prepared to respond quickly and confidently in an emergency.

Unfortunately, our sauna is currently out of service due to water entering the heating elements and causing electrical issues.
A friendly reminder that while using the sauna, please avoid pouring water over yourself or directly onto the elements. Excess water can splash onto the heaters, resulting in damage and unexpected closures like this.
