1970s to 2026. Two different sides of the same ridgeline, same intrepid skier. ❤️ ❄️

Long before there were chairlifts, Mary Lee and her late husband John were dreaming up a ski area on the hill above their Cardrona Valley farm. They bought Mt Cardrona Station in 1970, and a decade later Cardrona opened to the public.

The gear has changed and the mountain has grown a lot, but she's still out here enjoying what she helped build.
