From first-time heli-skiers to those wanting to ski maximum vertical, HMH will take you above & beyond for your powder adventure. Daily options include three, four and seven run days with extra runs available, with small groups of similar ability and personalized guiding. THANK YOU! That’s a wrap on the 2026 season with Harris Mountains Heli-Ski !

This was one to remember. Winter came just as our season lifted off in early July, and felt like it just kept getting better through August and September! We skiied cold winter pow right through what is often thought “spring”, then moved to corn skiing and beautiful warm days in the last of September and early October, revelling in long days and beautiful weather windows between productive spring storms.

With sincerity that can’t be overstated, we want to thank YOU, the guests and followers that bring enough excitement and passion to march the love that we feel for this operation.

The joy we see and experience as we fly and ski in places that look straight out of a dream is matched by our love for this work, and you can be sure we are already counting down the days until we can start up again for winter 2027.

From our teams in the ops rooms and offices to guides and pilots in the field, and to the guests who come for a once-in-a-lifetime experience and return as friends for many years to come, it is the people who make the special days worth remembering forever. Thank you.

This winter has left us with an epic base of great snow and although our daily operations have finished for 2026, our guides aren’t quite ready to call it done yet! Are you?

There is a limited window in the short term for private charters. Finish your season with a day you won’t forget and join us in the high alpine for the long lines and spring corn of your dreams!

The windy and stormy weather has made operations tricky, but it just the days when we DO get out that much sweeter!

If you’ve been wanting to get your final fill of spring skiing, we’re anticipating beautiful corn later in the week and through the weekend… might be the last days for the season so don’t wait! Grab a mate, some sunscreen and a tee shirt and finish your season on top!

Mount Larkins summit run today: September 23 2026.

A great day for those who managed to sneak out above the view and find the perfect sampling of the best snow spring can offer, absolute seasonal perfection skiing off the summit high above, and a view that stretches for days.

With local resorts planning to be open for nearly another month, we have no plans to give up on heli-skiing anytime soon!

It’s not over till it’s over and springtime is serving this season.

This last week has been incredible skiing, with conditions as beautiful as we saw in the depths of winter, and yet we’re coming down after an epic day to put sandals on and sit in the sun! ☀️

No flying today as a stormy bit of weather moves through our terrain this afternoon, but rest assured that we’re taking the time to regroup and prep for more! Winter 2026 is going to be good to the last drop 🏔️🏂

We’ve got seats waiting to be booked, text your best mates and finish your season with the ultimate snow experience for every snowboarder or skier.

September, you’re leaving us speechless!

Today was one of the finest of the season so far! We watched the obs and weather last night obsessively, on the edge of our seats to see the snow pile up FAST with no wind to mess it around. This makes for unicorn conditions in New Zealand: “spring storm skiing” with light, cold powder showing no wind effect. And our most experienced guides are expecting this pristine snow to stick around: with cold temps and low winds expected tonight.

Spring days mean we can ski longer, later, explore further into our vast terrain outside of Queenstown, Wānaka and Aoraki / Mount Cook.
We can honestly say that we got every bit of goodness out of today and we’re lining up to do it all again tomorrow.
