"I didn't know what to expect walking into iFLY Queenstown, but WOW - what an experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were super friendly, pumped with energy, and made me feel totally at ease. The briefing was clear, the gear was top-notch, and our instructor had the perfect combo of professional skill and hilarious banter. Then came the flight… and OH MY WIND TUNNEL. The sensation of flying is completely surreal - like floating in a dream, but with more adrenaline and cooler jumpsuits. I even did the high flight add-on (HIGHLY recommend), and it felt like being in an action movie. Honestly, I left with the biggest grin on my face and haven't stopped talking about it since. ✨ 500 Local Youth Empowered! ✨
This week we reached a special milestone — our 500th local child has flown through the award-winning iFLY Whakamana Youth Empowerment Programme 💙
Our iFLY community programme is all about building confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing in Year 7 & 8 students, through creative learning and the power of flight.
We’re incredibly proud to have collaborated alongside our amazing partners since 2021: Whakatipu Youth Trust, Sunny Epic Living, Te Hau Toka Southern Lakes Wellbeing Group, Te Whatu Ora, Sports Central, local schools, and the wider community.
Thank you to everyone who’s trusted iFLY to make this journey for our local primary schools possible. Together, we’re all helping our local youth soar — in the tunnel and in life. 🙌
