So, after the amount of rain we’ve had, it seemed only appropriate to consider returning to our roots.

Well… we wanted water coverage across the golf course.

Perhaps we should have been a little more specific. 🦆💦

With the amount of water currently sitting across the course, Queenstown Golf Club is CLOSED today.

On the bright side, our brand-new irrigation system might not be needed for a while! 😂

Too much… even for the ducks.

We’ll keep you updated as conditions improve. Please stay off the course in the meantime and give it every chance to drain and recover.

**Queenstown Golf Club is hiring for Summer 2026/27.**

We’re looking for **4 seasonal team members** to join us from **October 2026 to April 2027**, with a minimum of **30 hours per week**.

🌱 **2 x Greenkeeping Assistants**
Love working outdoors? Join our Course Team helping with mower operation, daily course set-up and general golf course maintenance.

⏰ Typically **6am–2pm**, rostered over 5 days.

⛳ **2 x Golf Operations Team Members**
A varied, customer-facing role welcoming golfers from around NZ and the world. Duties include customer service, phone enquiries, golf cart services, driving range services and general golf operations.

📅 Rostered over 5 days, including some weekend work.

**For all roles you’ll need:**
✓ A valid **NZ Work Visa**
✓ Your **own reliable transport**
✓ A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a great team
✓ Availability from **October 2026 to April 2027**

Previous experience is helpful, but for the right people, **attitude and reliability matter just as much.**

Queenstown Golf Club is looking for a friendly, energetic Café All Rounder to join our team for the summer through to April 2027.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys people, can roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed — from serving customers and preparing food and drinks to keeping things running smoothly when the café gets busy.

☕ Barista skills are a definite advantage!

What you need to know:
👉 Minimum 30 hours per week
👉 Roster will include at least one weekend day shift
👉 Own transport is essential
👉 You must have a current NZ work visa / right to work in New Zealand
👉 Café or hospitality experience would be great

You don't need to play golf — you just need to enjoy looking after people!
