Spotlight on .lucas

Already an experienced racer on the Enduro World Series, Cole started crushing his offseason prep with myself and back in January.

We could see from Ramp testing with that he had a solid aerobic capacity, but was lacking power in the pins, so we used Forcedecks to gain insight to his force and power qualities too.

After 3 months of work, Cole brought his isometric mid-thigh pull (IMTP) force up by over 400 Newtons (in relative terms, 3.35 N more per kilo of bodyweight). His time to peak-force shortened by a quarter of a second (so he’s faster to produce the force).

He was also able to express this dynamically, improving his Countermovement jump height by 24% and adding just shy of 800 watts to his peak power.

So what does this have to do with riding bikes?

In 2021 Cole finished the EWS in 24th overall, with a highest individual round of 19th.

This season he currently sits 5th with 2 rounds to go, his highest finish: 6th place in Whistler.

And he’s just getting started.

If you’re into enduro….or bikes… or just going fast, do your results a favour next season. Get the offseason prep done.

Queenstown's finest talent on two wheels and are back at it tonight for the DH in Lenzerheide.

They also happen to be the hardest workers off two wheels. Jess is back racing already after a short rehab, and Ed never misses a beat in his commitment to performance (just look at his results lately).

The old adage rings true:
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

These two have both. LETS GO!

Resilient, determined, committed. Can also hit a ball pretty far.

is one of NZ's top golfers but sheesh he's put in the work.

Since getting started with and myself back in mid-2019, Benny has built himself up to overcome multiple sporting injuries. In the process he's grown into a stronger athlete not just physically but also mentally.

It's great to see him out on the global stage again. This week he tees off in Japan. We look forward to following from NZ as you build towards the at St Andrews in July.
