Well that just happened! Sincere thanks to everyone who came out, supported and rocked the farm! There was such an awesome, positive and friendly vibe on the land… 🎵💚 A long time in the making and the start of many more to come I hope.

And thanks to Ann at Watson & Wyatt Design and her crew for looking after guests in the Polo Pavilion, Debbie/ Artisan Catering, Queenstown NZ for all the delicious food and serving drinks, Mount Edward Winery and Mora Wines, Canyon Brewing QT and Cardrona Distillery (we drank you dry! 🤣), Craig Gallagher from Summit Events Limited and all the contractors for everything on the day, and Toby, Mitch and Carwyn from Trademark Live for bringing these great bands to Queenstown. It’s been several years in the making but on January 7, 2023, we are hosting our first Summer concert here at Queenstown Polo, featuring music legends UB40, Jefferson Starship and Dragon.

Hits that I’m sure most of us remember include ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town’, ‘I Got You Babe’, ‘Jane’, ‘Rain’ and my favourite…’Dreams of Ordinary Men’!

We have a preferred area marquee - the only one available - called ‘The Polo Pavilion’, as a premium area for people wanting a more exclusive environment.

This area features: the very best marquee location within the event space; an indoor and outdoor area; ’walk and fork’ catering and a well stocked ‘grazing table’ by Artisan to keep you fuelled; an express bar service featuring a great selection of local and international beers, wines and other options; and of course, luxury bathrooms.

We wanted to offer this to close friends and supporters of Queenstown Polo before promoting this space to the wider audience. I’m sure it will be a standout group of people in attendance and a great way to welcome 2023!

Queenstown Polo Pavilion @ UB40

So excited to announce Queenstown Polo as the venue hosting (RC pending) UB40, Jefferson Starship and Dragon on Saturday, January 7, 2023! What an afternoon of great tunes and fantastic way to start the new year!

We will be operating an exclusive ‘Polo Pavillion’ area, with preferred parking, early entry, food service, arrival drink and a convenient cash bar featuring Queenstown’s best local beverages - all in the most desirable spot under the tress and next to the stage - for QP Friends.

As part of the FIP process this squad has been submitted alongside other FIP teams for player verification (ie that they are citizens of NZ, handicaps are correct under FIP rules etc), after these details have been confirmed we will announce the travelling team and reserves for Australia.

What an absolutely awesome evening at QP tonight 🙌🏼

We’ve had such a great time over the past few weeks seeing horses out and about on our trails, watching riders (and their patient support crew 😉) giving polo a try on our wooden horse and even getting some dressage and barrel racing ponies out on the field chasing balls!

Thank you for coming to celebrate the end of the season with us tonight and we look forward to seeing you all again soon 🤠🐎☀️🥂✨
