‼️Did you know?
All certified protectors on the market are tested using the same standard: a 55 kg dummy dropped from a height of 165 cm.
Now think about it—how many pilots actually weigh 55 kg when fully equipped with a harness? Likely less than 3–5%.
That means the vast majority of us are relying on certifications that don’t truly reflect our real-world needs. In many cases, these certifications offer more of a placebo effect than actual protection.
What’s more, many modern, lightweight protectors that perform well under test conditions often fail to activate effectively during lower-impact incidents—simply because they’re too rigid.
That’s exactly why we developed with unique expert (c)Victor something different:
A fully customisable impact protector, tailored to the pilot’s actual weight and optimized to function effectively in both high-impact and low-impact situations.
Even better—it can be shaped to replace the protector in virtually any existing harness.

The third member of the NZ Team to the 2025 World Hang-Gliding Championships in Ager, Catalonia, Spain is the bad boy of the team, Ian Miller.
Every team seems to have a bad boy in it, and Ian is definitely our one. Ian is a bad boy because he lives in Wellington. Why is that bad? Because it is a bad for your hang-gliding to live in Wellington. There are some nice sites to fly in Wellington, but they are on so rarely that it is near impossible to get any consistent flying there. Many HG pilots have been forced to leave Wellington permanently to get some good flying in other parts of the country.
Bad boy Ian has stuck with Wellington though and he gets his flying fixes by having to travel frequently to other parts of New Zealand and to Australia or Europe.
This will be Ian's first World Championship so Ian is super excited. He is not a stranger to Ager though, having flown last year in both the Ager Open and the Pre-Worlds.
If Ian is consistent he will give a very good account of himself at the event. Hope that you have a brilliant competition Ian!
