Ending on our favourite image from Nationals. Go Moss Pelvin from Dunedin Orienteering for keeping map contact whilst jumping a gate.

Well that's a wrap. Only this one photo from Wanaka, but you have all the rest.
The final applause is for some of our important supporters of Nationals and for the sport of orienteering:
Thanks to our sport sponsors PURE Sports Nutrition and Str8compass.
And we’d like to give big thanks to the New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) who presented us with $4,000 towards the mapping cost of the Middle; Rātā Foundation kindly helped us with $7,000 towards the purchase of O’Lynx equipment which will be a great bonus for our sport in the future; the Otago Community Trust who helped map the Long event; and many thanks to Dunedin Orienteering for allowing us to use the Humpy Bumpy map and the Long map as well; plus many thanks to Oamaru & Waitaki District for lots of information and local knowledge; and of course, finally all the landowners who so generously let us run on their turf.
Hope to see you competing again at Queens birthday.

Last Nationals photos...with an intro from the Waitaki Mayor, Gary Kircher, and exuberant MC'ing from Chris Forne. Some finishers come in, and Jan Harrison is presented with a bouquet, and after the pack-up the kids get in some serious fun with leftover cardboard. Nationals was great fun right until the end.
Thanks everyone for a fab four days of nationals competition.

Great spectator position from cliff top and some finishing photos. Meanwhile the kids were occupied building a 'bone museum' and there was a lot of map inspection and course reviewing at the finish.
