Manu Bay boat ramp overhaul dates đź“…

The boat ramp and board rider access in this area will be closed for a period while the boat ramp receives a complete structural overlay.

The construction works and site footprint will be delineated by 2.1m high fencing, and the site will contain multiple hazards so access should not be attempted.

These include but are not limited to submerged bags at the end of the ramp which will be delineated by orange buoys and a 600mm deep excavation at the top of the ramp for a period.

The construction period is 3 weeks during which time full ramp and access closure will be in place:

Construction Window 1 – Monday 7th September – Friday 25th September

Construction Window 2 – In the event of bad weather works will be rescheduled for Tuesday 6th October – Saturday 24th October

If swell conditions and/or weather is not favourable for either of the windows, the construction works will be deferred until April/May 2027.
