Maniototo Adventure Park

Maniototo Adventure Park Home to ice skating, summer and winter luge, and indoor and outdoor curling in the Maniototo. We host the only ice luge in the Southern Hemisphere.

Operating Hours - We are a winter seasonal business (approx. June to August) operating, subject to weather, 3pm to 5.30pm weekdays (not including holidays) and 10am to 5pm weekends and holidays. It is always worth getting in touch to check that we are open, as our hours are weather dependent. We can open at other times, including evenings, by arrangement. Give us a call.

Good morning.

Fire season is fast approaching and with the El Nino cycle predicted to affect us we are supposed to get increased hot, dry NW winds.
It briefly reached Extreme already at 5pm yesterday for an hour but dropped quickly with the sun.

Fire season officially starts 1st October but we start our fire awareness program for the Naseby Forest earlier, so keep a look out for our posts.

Education, awareness and co-operation with the community and visitors is the key for prevention of fire in Naseby because 97% of forest and bush wildfires in New Zealand are started by human activities and preventable actions near their boundaries according to FENZ and the NZFOA.
And with Naseby surrounded by Forest and 500Ha of our Forest open to the public, the risk is always real.

Naseby and within 1 km of the Forest remains a Restricted Fire Season all year round, with it moving into Prohibited when FENZ calculates the risk is higher.
Fireworks are banned in Naseby all year round, as are certain types of open BBQs, firepits and more.
