Rangiora Line Dancing

Monday & Wednesday night classes are back to normal

Line Dancing Demo this Friday - 4th September.
(Sorry for the late notice! - I’ve just received the information)

We have been asked to dance at the Saint Joseph’s Cultural Festival this Friday - 4th September.
Main Power Stadium.
5:40pm

If you are able to attend.
Please meet me at 5:40pm on Court 2 at the “Performers gathering area”

We are dancing at 5:55pm for 10 minutes.

We will dance Strumming Bird, The Last Shanty, & Shirts & Skirts.

What to wear: Please wear a pink Rangiora Line Dance t-shirt if you have one (plain white or black if you don’t have pink), & blue/black jeans (or similar) on the bottom.
Soft soled shoes or sneakers only
(NO boots please - We are dancing on the basketball court & not allowed boots on the court).

There will be food vendors & raffles available to purchase.
(You need to purchase coupons at the entrance for the food stalls)

& Wednesday nights class is relocated to Rangiora Borough School.

No dancing at Southbrook School Hall for the next 2 weeks due to the school production.

MONDAY (24th & 31st August) - Southbrook School hall 6-8pm.
CANCELLED - NO DANCING.
Come on Wednesdays if you can 🤠

WEDNESDAY (26th August & 2nd September) - moved to RANGIORA BOROUGH SCHOOL HALL 6pm-9pm.
King Street (next to the Rangiora Town Hall).

Jenny - 3rd 🥉 Solo Basic 65+
Ange & Jen - 3rd 🥉 Duo Basic 50+

Special mention: Jenny & Jan - Duo Basic 50+. Whilst they didn’t place, they danced beautifully. (It was a really tough section & the scores were very close).

The ladies thoroughly enjoyed it (despite the nerves).
