Te Rapa Races Tomorrow!

Race 1 - #8 Allaces and Lynsey Satherley fly from gate 6.
🔥🐲 is set and ready, she will give it her best, she’s feeling great and ready to go. But up in company and in distance. First time at Te Rapa for her it’ll be a step up, hopefully she’s 👌

Race 8 - #8 Joshua Brown and Lynsey Satherley jump from gate 9.
JB is feeling good and on his toes. The ground might be to firm for him but he’ll tell us how it is no doubt.

What a fantastic day!

Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the team, especially Lynsey Satherley and Bheru Singh Bhati, we have some great people helping us along the way, some good friends came with us today and some Auckland friends met us there. It was awesome to share the celebrations with them all.

Cheers Ron, your breeding expertise is pretty darn good 😁
Would be great to talk with Ron and Thea about it all today, they’ll be smiling watching it all unfold.

Such a good run. Will post race when we get home. But we are super proud of the team this week.

🐎Allaces aka Mia the Fire 🔥 Breathing Dragon🐲

🏇Race 6 - Eagle Technology 1600 at 2.49pm. Lynsey Satherley aboard 🤩🤩

Carrying 58.5kg is a very big ask for a little mare like Mia. She’d only be 15.1 or 15.2hh. But she does carry Bheru 😂😅 so she’ll be used to it to a certain degree.
Big at Ellerslie tomorrow, pretty exciting for her, us, everyone really 😂

Fantastic Results for the Gussey horses today.
🥈Joshua Brown home in 2nd
🥉She’ll Be Right home in 3rd.

Both ridden beautifully by Lynsey and Courtney. Thanks ladies for guiding them home.

The Linda Laing trained She’ll Be Right fought on hard, after travelling wide the entire race, she’s a tough little mare.

Joshua Brown jumped like a race horse today, lead the field and only got beaten because his blinkers didn’t allow him to see that horse coming. Lynsey reckons he could have won by 3 lengths if he hadn’t waited for them again. 😅

Hope you’re looking down with glee Ron and Thea! 3 horses racing in 3 days😁😁

🐎🐎Joshua Brown with Lynsey Satherley aboard and She’ll Be Right with Courtney Barnes aboard, line up together in the same race on Thursday at Te Aroha, the 8th race, the Glenn Old Bloodstock 1600.

🐎Allaces with Lynsey Satherley aboard lines up on Saturday at Ellerslie in the 6th race - The Eagle Technology 1600.

Josh #1 and Allaces #10

Hope they both give it a good go 🤞🤞 but let’s face it horse races are bloody hard to win, we have done everything we need to, to get them here, they are fit, the rest is up to them.

She’ll Be Right will give Josh a run for his money, she has a fantastic work ethic, and a great attitude, Linda Laing has done an incredible job with her, she’ll beat him if he f**ks around and doesn’t want to be there 🤣 … he may have a chance if he actually tries the big goof ball!

No luck with tracks this year it’s been to dry for Joshy. Hopefully he gets a better track, but we are going the opposite way.
Will have to see how we go on the day 🤞
