Become a Referee - Mainland Football is hosting a Level 1 Referee Course in Nelson!

Whether you’re a player, coach, parent, supporter or simply passionate about football, becoming a referee is a great way to stay involved in the game and make a difference.

All participants are required to complete the theory module prior to the practical session on Wednesday 9th September.

Introducing the RICHMOND STAGGER!! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The Richmond FC Aged Staggered Race is coming to Prize-Giving Day, and it’s going to be a good one!

Here’s how it works:

🔴 Men aged 30 years and under start on the goal line
⚫ Females aged 30 years and under start on the 15m line
🔴 Every 5 years is marked by a 5m interval on the pitch
⚫ For every year you are over 30, you gain a 1m advantage
🔴 So, a 40-year-old gets a 10m head start!
⚫ First to the other end of the pitch wins…

For club. For glory. For bragging rights. 🏆

And don’t forget our Married vs Singles teams!

If you’re single or taken and want to race for the Singles team, or engaged/married and want to race for the Married team, let your team managers know ASAP to secure your spot!

This could get very interesting… 👀

Our Smith & Sons 1st Division Men are heading into the Cup Final tomorrow as they take on Rangers AFC, and we want the whole club there behind them!

Bring your whānau, bring your teammates and get down to Saxton Field S1 for a 3.00pm kick-off.

Let’s get behind the boys, make some noise and show them what Richmond support looks like!
