WE ARE OPEN FOR "BUSINESS"!
Opening Day at the Riwaka Bowling Club today! The weather was fabulous, the greens perfection and the company fantastic. Thank you all for supporting the day. Club members, potential new members and supporters - super turnout for the day, the raising of the flag and the first bowl by Patron and Life Member, Beveley Hunt and a follow up testing roll up of the green.
Thank you, Martin Hammond for coming over from Nelson, to represent the Bowls Nelson Centre and officially declare the season OPEN!

Congratulations Dave Edwards on being awarded Life Membership of Bowls New Zealand!

A truly well-deserved recognition of Dave’s exceptional and sustained contribution to bowls in New Zealand — from a decade as a Blackjacks coach and selector, to Commonwealth Games and World Bowls campaigns, high-performance development and centre governance.

For around 25 years, Dave has also given countless hours to local coaching and selecting, while promoting coaching pathways and development throughout his time with Bowls New Zealand. His belief in the “One Team” philosophy has also made a lasting impact on our sport.

Thank you, Dave, for your continued commitment, support and contribution to our centre and to bowls in New Zealand. We are extremely lucky to have you as part of our centre.

Looking FANTASTIC! Thanks to the “team” our Riwaka Bowling Club is ready and waiting! Greens and surrounds looking fabulous, seats all spruced up, gardens a picture and the Clubrooms cleaned!
