Coach Oli is heading back to Vietnam with Sally and Cam to look after his family.

Oli has been with us since our first winter camp and hes grown into an exceptional grappler over the last 4 years. From a sub-par white belt into an ankle locking machine, from a blue belt buggy choking demon and now a purple belt with the hardest head pin passing in the region.
Hes won comps, super fights, and done it all using his own unique style. If there's a ruleset, sure as s**t Oli will have a strategy.

Hes been a coach of lunch crew for the last year and has always helped others out on the mat normally after them asking how the f**k did he do that to them.
Hes a true AxisRolly rep. An OG. Our gym and our culture wouldn't be where it is today without him.

We are gonna miss you geatly bud. But we cant wait to visit you over there (Summer Camp 2027....) or hopefully one day you find your way back to us ❤️

ran an epic TagTeam comp this weekend.

We had 7 teams competing. 3 advanced, 3 beginner and 1 women's. With one team including our buddy Alex from .bjj . The TagTeam rulset was pretty awesome, it led to some sick grappling moments, including mat drags, double teams, and hilarious double mounts. Will throw a highlight together of some of the shenanigans with some WWE levels of craziness.

AxisRolly walked away with medals in all divisions including taking gold and silver in the advanced division. As well as spot prizes for teamwork for "Yeah the girls", best submission for Madix's Bolo to Choke and head hunter for Keegans rampage.

Thank you to everyone who came down to support. Every cheer you made when one of our team pulled guard made the difference 😆 🤣

This guys been training since he was 5, berimboloing by 10 and now nearly 16 gets his blue.
Hes grown up on the mats and has been an asset to our gym. Hes one of the best and hardest training rounds you can get, hes extremly coachable, he asks questions, listens to answers and implements them, he coaches kids classes and is someone that all our kids look up to as an example of what you can do when you only ever think about jiujitsu.

Hes had some absolutely standout moments but watching him win his first super fight on Roll2Win has to be a real highlight. Going out there cool as a cucumber speed passing and hitting his signature bow and arrow choke is a moment I won't forget as a coach. Super hype.

Hes a great kid and im sure will continue on his trajectory when he god damn ditches us for Aussie soon.

Congrats buddy. You are better than that blue belt. But luckily for the purple belts you aren't 17 yet.
