Kurangaituku highlights! 2nd placed in their division, well done ladies!

Wishing our ladies all the best for today’s games heading into day 2 of Kurangaituku!

Wishing our Rotoiti Red team all the best as they head into the Kurangaituku tournament tomorrow and Saturday.

The Kurangaituku tournament started in 1933 with six teams on one weekend and grew to become the biggest tournament to be held in New Zealand now held over several weekends.

We look forward to sharing highlights of the tournament! All the best ladies we know you will represent your club well. Mā te mahi kotahi ka angitū ai a Rotoiti!

We’re excited to share that our local kura; Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Rotoiti is celebrating 30 years as a Kura Kaupapa Māori next month on September 26th.

Please note that registration is required to attend, and places are currently limited to 150 people, so get in quick, whānau! Head over to the Facebook group to register or if you get stuck reach out to Tammy or Ellen Gardiner who can help you through the process.

👕 Special 30-Year T-Shirts
All registered adults will receive a special 30-Year commemorative T-shirt to mark this special milestone.
⏰ Registrations close 31 August 2026

There is a short registration window so they can get the T-shirt order underway, so please don’t leave it until the last minute!
Our community is looking forward to coming together to celebrate this special day with you all.
