We’re pleased to announce the leadership group for our Premier team this season, with 𝗖𝗮𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 stepping up from Vice Captain to take the reins as Captain this season.

Joining Cam as Vice Captain is 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀, who steps into the leadership group after being a Premier team stalwart for a number of seasons.

Both Cam and Sean are highly respected within the team and we’re looking forward to seeing them lead the group this season, working alongside Club Coach 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲.

A big thanks to 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱, who has captained the Premier team and served the club well over recent seasons. Ben is taking a more casual approach to his cricket for the next season or two, but we’re sure we’ll still see plenty of him around the club.

Hailing from South Africa, James is joining us as an all-rounder and will be a key weapon in our Premier team's batting and bowling attack this summer. As a 'leggie' we're particularly looking forward to seeing him roll his arm over at the ‘Bone the summer!

James comes to us with some pretty good recommendations too. He’s currently playing in the Netherlands alongside former Geyser City overseas player 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗥𝗼𝘆, and our South African import from last season, 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲, was also quick to give him the Geyser whānau tick of approval.

So we reckon he’s already got a pretty good idea of what he’s signed up for!

We are recruiting coaches for our U15, U17 and U19 Boys' and u16 and u19 Girls' representative programmes, providing an opportunity to work with some of the region's most talented young cricketers while contributing to their development both on and off the field.

Whether you're an experienced coach or looking to take the next step in your coaching journey, we'd love to hear from you.
