Whānau, the grand finals are here, and our tamariki have worked incredibly hard to earn their spot on this. This weekend we’re heading to the field as:

Let’s pack the sidelines, bring the vibe, the noise, and our Waikite pride. Come down, support our teams, our whānau, and our awesome coaches who have poured their hearts into this season.

My name is Jake Ryan and I am the Event Manager for the NZ Beach 5's which is held in Mount Maunganui on 27-29 November.

Now in its fifth year, DAIKIN Beach 5s is returning to

The Mount off the back of a record year in 2025 with 61 teams and over 730 players!
The newest five-a-side tackle sport taking the world by storm is a Rugby Union and Rugby League hybrid game without scrums or lineouts.
