I have struggled all week! 😭 There’s moments when I feel like… Yep this is the right decision! We made the right choice to close our doors & stay true to our kaupapa, walk in as strangers & leave as whanau, mana over money ❤️ But then there’s videos like this and reading the many messages from people we didn’t even realise we’ve helped along the way 💔 For a lot of people this was their “Saving grace, their outlet, the home away from home, the place they felt comfortable, their whanau when they didn’t have whanau & the gym that saved their lives” 😭 It’s messages like these, where I second guess myself? Did we really make the right decision. All week I’ve been battling with some next level emotions. Financially, closing our Gym is a no brainer, we never paid ourselves a wage, but we poured a lot of blood, sweat, tears, money & time into giving it our all! It was our passion! In our DNA! In our blood! 🥊 I didn’t realise until receiving all your messages, how much this space we created meant to you all! Someone said to me “Edmonds Boxfit is still alive, just without the 4 walls, your only closing the building, not the mana, the memories & everything else that goes with it” 😭 So whanau, we appreciate everyone’s love & support throughout this time! To answer a few questions, yes we will still be taking Merch orders for our Boxfit Clothing, yes we will be taking one on one trainings, yes we will be taking small group trainings! 💯 For the mean time just focusing on my health & getting my heart pumping normal again! Can take us out of the Gym, but you can’t take the Gym out of us! Bring on 2022 😎 I’m here for it! Sure To Rise!
