We hosted the Road Relays today, with running and walking teams.
The aim being that all team members start together and then they drop a team member at base and then re pick up on the way back, meaning some team members do 2km, some 4, 6 or 8km
Its a fun event with all clubs mixed up!

Registration is now open for the TET Athletics Taranaki Cross Country Championships 2026.

We look forward to welcoming athletes of all ages to Stratford Racecourse on Saturday, 18 July 2026, for a great afternoon of cross-country racing.

Today we hosted all the local clubs for Tom Verney Jnr Memorial Trophy race.
We have our President Chris handing over the Trophy to Bryn Egmont Athletics - worked out on a special formula to see who takes out the title.
Also our new Gazebo having its first use.

2nd Cross Country Handicap race at the O’Sullivans in Toko this week, if you intend on coming and need details of address just Pm the page and I’ll give it to you.

Meet at 1pm for a 1.15-1.30ish kick off.
Bring a plate for shared afternoon tea.

It’s the 15th Anniversary of the Egmont Village School Mid-Winter Fun Run / Walk.
It’s not free but for a small entry fee you will be adding to this Egmont Village School fundraiser so come and enjoy some country hospitality. A distance to sort all, over farm and road.
Last year 300 people took part so you will not be alone and this proves it must be a great event.
For Casual and more competitive people. Individuals or families.
