Pilates classes are starting again! Yay! And more work days too!
Starting on Monday 28th February
I am slowly coming out of hibernation and am very ready to start up with some Pilates again.
I will be running 3 classes a week from the 28th Feb.
Monday 8:15am-9:00am
Monday 9:15am-10:00am
Friday 8:15am-9:00am
Classes are mat based with basic Pilates equipment like bands, balls and the deadly sliders. With a mixture of strengthening and mobility.
$15 if you would like to book a regular spot (which you pay monthly)
$20 for drop in class (booking essential)
Classes will be limited to 5 people because of space limitations so let me know ASAP which class you will be coming to.
Located at the Harrier Hut.
If you have a group of 4-5 friends that would like a class at a different time then get in touch with me.
I will now be available 4 days a week for private Pilates, exercise rehab and massage appointments.
My new work hours are:
Monday 11:00am- 3:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am - 3:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am- 4:00pm
Friday 9:30am- 1:00pm
You will also notice that my prices have increased a small amount so I can keep on giving you a great service! Thank you in advance for your understanding and continued support

As many of you know, I will be away for the next few months on maternity leave. I have got two wonderful ladies standing in for me while I am away:
For massage appointments - Many of you already know Amy Church who I took over from last year. I have twisted her arm into coming back for a while which I am forever grateful for. Amy is an amazing sports and remedial therapist, with many years experience and also offers relaxation and pregnancy massage.

For exercise rehab appointments: Jenni Soutar will be helping out, She studied through the exact same route as I did in South Africa and has recently immigrated to NZ. She has a wealth of knowledge in injury rehabilitation and prevention, general strength and conditioning and practices fascial release therapy.

I have had to give my Pilates classes up for the time being, If you have been coming to classes or individual sessions please find the group called "Pilates with Cate" on Facebook and I will try to upload old lockdown video classes as often as I can for you to practise from home.
I haven't finalised a return date yet, I will be entering this motherhood journey for the first time and will just need a while to find my feet to get a better idea of when I will be back at it.
You are more than welcome to contact me at any time, whether it be for an appointment with Amy or Jenni or just for a catch up. I will still be doing admin work from home during this time.

Posting a little late but finally I have moved into my own space and it feels so so good!
Find me inside AC Baths complex as you head down to the pools.
The first two weeks in my new space have flown by and have been great! It has been so nice to meet some new faces too.

It looks like we could be opening soon and I am sooooooo excited!!
Our Zoom Pilates classes and individual sessions have been a great hit!
Well done to all of you for staying active during lockdown!
Looking forward to when level 2 comes around, we will be able to resume face-to-face class with a few extra precautions.
I am happy to have Zoom access to the class for those who would still prefer to stay home.

An important update re: CoVid-19
I have made a very big and hard decision over the weekend to temporarily stop seeing all massage clients as of Saturday 21st March on the latest government recommendations to reduce all physical contact. Unfortunately, a lot of my work is very much hands on and for the safety of all my clients I feel I need to take action.
I will be closely monitoring the situation and will re-open when I feel it is safe to do so.
As for my Pilates and exercise rehab clients, I will be contacting you all personally to discuss your sessions and the possibility of moving online.
I will be available to contact via mobile or email.
Keep yourselves, safe and healthy and lets all try to kick this thing out the park. With each of us playing our part to slow down the spread, we can make a difference. Together but apart.
