SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN!!
UPDATE: We have tried numerous ways to clean the graffiti and have successfully cleaned the walls which is fantastic, with a graffiti product in the end working for this, however the toilet is still in a bad state but there are a few more options to try. The actual point of this post however is that young children need to be supervised, for so many reasons.
We were incredibly upset and to be honest, angry, to find this vandalism done during the senior competition on Saturday 23rd May, another wall in this toilet has also been vandalised. This is the type of issue we are having to deal with when people are not supervising their children.
This damage done to our facilities looks to have been done by a preschooler, certainly someone under the age of probably 6yrs.
Our staff and volunteers are now having to try to fix the damage and it could possibly cost us a significant amount of money to do so.
The fact that people are not supervising their preschoolers or under 6's at any event let alone one where there could be up to 800 people at any given time is astounding and distressing.
We are NOT babysitters, our facilities are NOT here for your children to hang out in and keep themselves entertained. Any children that are causing disruption at any time will be told to leave and go back to who should be supervising them.
DO NOT send your young children, especially preschoolers to use the bathrooms alone, we will be turning them around to go back to who ever should be watching them.
LOST CHILDREN
Generally over a season we have approximately 2 lost children to assist, yet we have had 4 alone in just the last 2 Saturdays.
