A misty start gave way to a stunning finish, making for another fantastic day of football. Plenty of smiles, great teamwork, and some outstanding performances across the grades.

A huge 🙌 to all of our Player of the Day recipients: your effort, attitude, and sportsmanship didn’t go unnoticed!

Well done to every player, coach, referee, and supporter who helped make it such a great weekend. 💙⚽

Come along to our tournament team muster and show us what you’ve got!

Field 23 - Grade 9 Crown Park

No registration required – just turn up and give it a go. The fee for the team is $100 and your player will get the latest Taupo AFC hoody ($70) and $30 towards some of the entry fees.

Tournament football is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, make new friends across the club, and wear the Taupō AFC colours with pride.

🔥 SAUSAGE SIZZLE TOMORROW AT CROWN PARK 🔥

Keep an eye on this page tomorrow morning for any weather updates, but at this stage it looks like the rain will pass through and football should be all go! ⚽️

If you’re heading down to Crown Park to support the players, make sure you bring some cash and grab a bite to eat from Kruze’s AIMS Games fundraising sausage sizzle. There’ll be sausages, bacon buddies and drinks available throughout the day, with all proceeds helping Kruze get to the Zespri AIMS Games.

The football will be flowing, the BBQ will be hot, and it’s a great way to support one of our young Taupō athletes on his journey.

⚽️ FEDERATION TRAINING IS STILL ON! ⚽️

All Federation training sessions are going ahead as planned tonight. Please come prepared for the conditions with a warm jacket and a drink bottle.

😴 SLEEP IN ALERT! 😴

That’s right football whānau… NO SATURDAY OR FEDERATION FOOTBALL THIS WEEKEND! 🙌⚽

No early alarms.
No rushing to find shin pads.
No “Mum/Dad, where are my boots?!” at 8:12am.

Enjoy the well-earned sleep in, slow mornings, hot coffees, kids in PJs until lunchtime (we won’t judge ☕🍳).

We’ll see everyone back refreshed and ready to go the following weekend!
