Introducing More Than Coaching!

I am really excited to launch a new coaching business, alongside my friend Elise Salt, that we have been working on behind the scenes this year!

Our aim is not only to coach, but to mentor and share learnings from our own experiences. We believe we can help athletes to achieve their goals in a healthy and sustainable way.

Please check out our brand new website www.morethancoaching.co.nz to find out more or get in touch.

Had a great weekend in Palmy with my friend Emma Poole, helping out with some coaching at the Shane Reed Triathlon Carnival and Manawatu Triathlon Club. The kids were very enthusiastic and I loved every minute. Thanks for having me!

School’s out & that means a whole summer of running is on the menu 😍 Hopefully there’s some more certainty for event organisers in 2022! 👟✨

"As one door closes, another door opens" has never been more relevant to me in my life. With that said, it is with both sadness and excitement that I have decided to retire from triathlon and pursue my teaching career.

Triathlon has been an enormous part of my life since I began my triathlon journey back in 2008. It has taken me to some incredible places, led me to meet some amazing people and create memories that will stay with me forever. Although it's been a hell of a journey with some pretty extreme lows as well as incredible highs, triathlon has given me so much, and I hope that I also gave a lot to triathlon.

I have so many people in my corner that I need to thank for their time and support that spanned many years, and those who have stuck by me through thick and thin. I have also had the privilege of representing some incredible sponsors who I am very grateful for. Thank you to David Bowden for coaching me to the best form of my life, despite COVID making racing difficult!

Although I won't be competing in triathlon anymore, I will still be doing running races around New Zealand and of course be a loyal member of Run Club Cambridge! I will also still be involved with community triathlon groups, sharing my insight & knowledge with the next generation of triathletes so I won't be a stranger :)

Lastly, thank you to my three biggest supporters: my amazing husband and my wonderful parents. I love you all very much.

I hope you enjoy these collection of memories as much as I do...

Thank you Team Cabjaks-Castelli Custom for making this cycling season such a good one. This morning we took the win for the final round of the Dynamo Events Team Series with legend Kate McCarthy on the top step both today and overall for the series! Our team came 2nd in the series & we definitely have some results to be proud of this season. Pleasure working with you all. 🚴🏼‍♀️💥

The Sea2Sky Challenge did not disappoint!! Absolutely brutal course with amazing views. 10/10 - would suffer again!

Happy to take 🥈 behind Ainsley Thorpe and challenge myself on such a testing course. It was an awesome weekend spent with some great people. Many thanks to my homestay hosts Kerry & Pete who made me feel really welcome and big thanks to John Newsom for his hard work to make the event such a success.

I’m really excited to join the Ironman NZ Commentary Team in Taupo next month! Less than 2 weeks to go and I can’t wait to be amongst the action... looking forward to seeing the NZ long distance athletes battle it out, achieve their goals and show us what they’re made of!
