Aquabladz NP Swimming Club

🏊‍♂️ BOP Short Course Showdown 2026 🏊‍♀️

A team of 28 Aquabladz swimmers which included both junior and senior swimmers, travelled to the Bay of Plenty on Friday to swim at this annual event!

The meet was a fantastic experience for all of the swimmers. Whether it was their first time travelling and attending an out of region club trip, first time achieving a placing or qualifying for a final and or, going away without their family!
Each and every swimmer should feel extremely proud of themselves 😍
To top it all off, there were multiple PB’s achieved by each of the swimmers and, a huge amount of podium placings and top ten final placings for them 👏

Record Numbers and Record Swims at NZ Secondary Schools Competition Wrap – 2026 NZ Secondary School Swimming Championships

We are all loving watching the Commonwealth games Swimming on TV at the moment. Congratulations to all the Kiwi’s. They have all been fantastic & hugely inspiring. Special congratulations to Carter Swift. Just a boy from Manaia. He started out with Hawera swim club before moving with family to Australia. When he was back home, he trained and swam for Aquabladz.
Remember kids, dream big, work hard and you can achieve anything you put your heart and mind to.

Eighth in the Commonwealth 🙂‍↕️✨

Carter Swift clocks 49.07 to finish eighth in the men's 100m freestyle at Glasgow 2026, soaking up the experience of his first individual Commonwealth Games final.

So much to be proud of 🖤🌿

We are hoping to sell lots of yummy popcorn as the money raised will, help support all of our swimmers to attend swimming meets out of the Taranaki region in both August and October 2026.
