New Zealand Freefly Record Attempts

Expressions of Interest – NZ Freefly Record Attempts

We are gathering expressions of interest for upcoming Freefly record attempts in New Zealand.

Our goal is to set a new NZ Head-Up Record and to break the current NZ Head-Down Record.

The event is planned for Nov / Dec 2027, giving everyone plenty of time to train with purpose, work towards a shared goal, and build the skills needed for bigway freefly skydives. To participate in either record attempt, flyers must be proficient in both head-up and head-down orientations, as approaches to a head-up formation are flown on the head.

In the lead-up, there will be multiple skills camps across the country, along with a tunnel camp planned over winter, to provide structured training opportunities and progression pathways.

At this stage, we are simply collecting expressions of interest. This is not a registration form. Official registration will open closer to the event once we have a clearer idea of numbers.
