🔥 Levelling up next, our Taupō Sports Blazers 🔥

Leading the crew is our Captain, Annalise 🖤🤍 A fit, supportive midcourter who leads from the front and is always there for her teammates.

Right beside her is Naumai, our manager of sorts 🙌 Another hardworking midcourter who’s always backing our captain, backing the team, and helping keep everything ticking along.

And doubling down on the support, they’ve got Diahne coaching, alongside Diane, bringing plenty of experience, knowledge and guidance to the side.

A huge mihi to Waitete Netball for putting a team together, making the early trip over, and having a fun game with us. We loved the great sportsmanship, plenty of laughs, and the fact you stayed around and let us host you afterwards. 🖤🤍

Safe to say this won’t be the last Taupō vs Waitete clash — we reckon an annual matchup might be on the cards! 🏐🔥

And last but definitely not least, a massive thank you to the ladies who filled in at the last minute. No questions asked, just willing to step up and help the club out whenever needed. We appreciate you all more than you know. 🙌

Today, we remember Whetu, a former Taupō Sports player who tragically passed away last week.

Before today’s Premier match, we will observe a minute’s silence in his honour as we reflect on the impact he had.

Our thoughts, love, and deepest condolences are with Whetu’s family, friends, and all those who knew him.

Rest easy, Whetu 🖤🤍

We had two more new faces join us this season, but unfortunately one of those faces has had to leave us already.

Baylee, we’re so thankful for the time and effort she brought during preseason and we wish her nothing but the absolute best moving forward 🤍

And then there’s Charné - our great last minute addition! She may have been gently convinced to join, but honestly she fits in perfectly already. Fully part of the chaos and loving every minute of it 😂👏

Didn’t come away with the DUB this week, but the energy, effort and growth across all our teams was awesome!

So good seeing our ladies and back out on the court together again.
Winter sports weather, sideline support, team talks, laughs and plenty of hustle already this season.

Flames are settling into Prem nicely.
Blazers are making statements in A Reserve.
And Vipers are bringing the energy every single week no matter who’s available 💚

Proud of the culture our ladies continue to build on and off the court!
