Alan spent a day up on Mt Tongariro on Sunday. Its a 'must' for anyone visiting this region. Stay the night (or nights) at Woodland Park B and B Taupo, get some expert advice on the options to site-see, walk in the mountains, or ski while you are here.

Alan drives buses for these guys, and is occassionally seen walking the crossing too. A highly recommended day's activity for our guests if the great outdoors and a reasonable level of fitness and sense of adventure is your thing.

Tongariro Expeditions We can pick up from most accommodation. It is advised to be waiting outside five minutes before the departure time so you do not miss the bus. Payment can be made via prepaid ticket, cash or VISA/Mastercard on the bus.
