Today was a good day with kids and ponies. 2 kids had a blast at the holiday program while learning as much as one can learn in a day. Thankful for fine weather and good horses.

Wow we have got some stunning weather. Don't forget we have a holiday program tomorrow. Still 3 spaces left.

After a quiet few months with the weather not playing ball, horses being injured and new horses coming in, we finally managed some holiday fun.

Today's challenge?

Give 2 kids a rug and tell them to put it on. Cuper the trooper just stood there while the girls figured it out in time, and with minimal guidance. Here are some progress pics.

While things have been quiet here we are holding a holiday program these Easter holidays. Tuesday and Thursday of both weeks with 2 instructors. This also means we can have more fun and learning. Come and learn everything horse.

9 to 3 daily with the option of a late finish by arrangement.

8 to 14 year Olds.

$70 per day.

Things have been very quiet here at An Equine Connection the last few months. Well on the page they have been. Behind the scenes the horse numbers have grown while the weather has been miserable.

So what does that mean?

We have a pony pamper day booked for tomorrow from 10 until 2 with a couple of places avaliable. $70 for 4 hours of ponies and fun in the sun now that it is finally here. I have 2 spaces avaliable if anyone would like to join. This is not a ridden day.

Tommy isn't very impressed that he is not getting one of the broodmare dinners. But when you look as fabulously pregnant like he does I don't think he needs it.

Hi there everyone. Just an update on the horses. Ellie is looking great after her injury but we have made the decision to retire her from being ridden. Cuper is still a little off so lessons are still cancelled at the moment.

I have also unfortunately misplaced my cell phone so i do not have much access to the internet. I can jump on the computer occasionally to check messages but please bare with me.

Just letting everyone know that sadly lessons are on hold for the time being. Ellie has given herself a nasty leg wound and Cuper is still recovering from whatever dumb stuff he did in the paddock.

Just a reminder, all lessons are cancelled this weekend as I am away at equifest helping Ellie Harrison at Wild Thyme Horsemanship. If your there come and say hi.

Love this quote from Anna Blake, Relaxed & Forward Training. It is what I strive for with all the horses and riders. Horses are thinking animals so we need to make sure we are kind in our ask and allow the time to process. Reward the try and training comes along so much faster.
