Signing off Facebook 👋

I’ve decided I really don't enjoy this platform and no longer want to use it — a health and time choice for me. From the 13th October I will no longer be engaging with this platform, or be accessible via messenger. I'll leave my business page and account open for now.

Celebrating a win today!

My fastest 5km today, gave myself a little push and got under the 25 minute mark. Yay!

I’m very much in the perimenopause phase of my life, all patched up and sleep is crazy. I’m loving the hourly wake ups at 2, 3, 4am; good job I’m a morning person. 😝

Sharing as I’m also the strongest, leanest and fastest I’ve ever been I think so perimenopause isn’t game over, it’s just the start of a new phase.

Keep moving, keep showing up, keep fuelling your body and stay consistent ladies!

We got this 💪🏼💜👌🏼

Personal Win

A little personal win… my phone no longer comes to bed with me at night 🙌 Took me a while, but now it stays in another room.
The difference?
Better sleep, clearer mornings, and a real sense of switching off.

Funny how one small boundary can bring so much ease. 🌙

What’s one small boundary that’s made a big difference for you?

PD Fit Walk & Talk

Today’s walk in the sun with my Parkinson’s community. Wheelchairs, walkers, walking poles and non of the above; all are welcome.

Good to get out in the sun for a walk, and have chats over coffee and snacks afterwards.

Our oldest walker = 98 years old today! 💜

Nice work team, thanks for joining me. ☺️

Another article with Jodie regarding her individualised funding.

Tauranga woman Jodie Thorne uses a wheelchair due to having a degenerative muscle disorder, which severely limits her mobility.

Her wheelchair needs repairing, but she has been denied government funding for it due to what she says is a “huge gap” in the system. 👇

‘Out of touch’: Disability community angry at minister’s social media post 19/08/2025

Check out my client Jodie Thorne’s story in Stuff on the challenges of accessing her Individualised Funding.

This is money already allocated to her – yet she can’t use it to repair her outdoor wheelchair. Hardly a luxury item. Without it, Jodie is mostly confined to her home, unable to walk her dog Milo on the beach, head to the paddocks, or continue with dog training – the everyday things that bring joy and keep her connected to her community.

Access to funding shouldn’t be this hard.

Breaking Free from the Binge–Restrict Cycle

Binge eating isn’t just about how much you eat — it’s about feeling out of control around food. For many, it’s linked to cycles of restriction, emotional stress, or using food for comfort.

Here’s what I focus on with clients:
* Understanding the different types of hunger
* Building awareness
* Eating regularly to prevent the binge–restrict rollercoaster
* Letting go of strict diets and creating a balanced, sustainable way of eating

If this sounds familiar, know you’re not alone — and change is absolutely possible. It is important to also get psychological support if you have an Eating Disorder, as you will need a team to help you with recovery. 💛

📩 DM me if you’d like support in creating a healthier, more relaxed relationship with food.
