Katikati Wildcats - 1

The Blues gaining some more points on the table after a close gritty game against Katikati. Both sides dug deep and played great hockey. Blues connected well and played for each other to come out on top.
⚡️Player of the day, Isla had a stand out performance. Second game of the day and owned the goal and defensive circle. Some outstanding saves and communication throughout the game.

OBHC Senior Reds - 0
Moana White - 2

On Saturday the Reds faced a strong, connected Moana side who came out on top. Reds showed great strength in defence and had some lovely passages of play throughout the game.
⚡️Player of the day for the Reds was Jess. She showed strength and commitment in defence and has been playing great hockey consistently over the last few weeks.

Shout out to ALL the Omanu supporters who come out every week cheering on both teams.

Following our recent AGM, we’ve got some new appointments to the committee and we would like to introduce you to those folks who are voluntarily giving up their time and effort to run our epic club.

🌟INTRODUCING our new Club President

This is Hannah, she’s the new boss lady.

Hannah has been a hockey coach, manager, club captain and a committee member at ABC in North Harbour. She’s also pretty handy with a 📸 HPhotography

Something else you may not know about Han is that she is also a volunteer firefighter and first responder 🚒👩‍🚒. What a legend.

We are incredibly lucky to have her stepping into the Presidential role, following an epic 3 years with our previous Pres, and club founder, Krish Singh.

We also want to congratulate Hannah on her OBHC debut recently.

After a hyped Baywide Comp, round 2 starts with taking on Valkyries this SATURDAY in the Division 1 Grade.
While our Senior Reds battle it out against Katikati in the first game of the Division 1 Competition.
