JAGGED ROCKS! - NO WORRIES
Spent a couple of weeks cruising the Gulf over Xmas and New Year. Great to be back to catch up with friends and familiar places in Waiheke and Kawau. Once again our Whaly 270 proved to be an awesome tender especially in rocky areas - “All the advantages of an inflatable - without the worry and maintenance”.

“The Whaly 435R keeps performing out on the West Coast at Raglan, a great stable platform to fish and dive from. Many have brought their personal best on board the latest being my brother in law who landed this healthy specimen that was released. Previously had not caught anything over 5 pound.”

Heading off to Christchurch. Whaly’s are proving popular in the South Island. Not sure if it’s because they can handle the rugged coast or if it’s because we subsidise the freight for our southern friends. Perhaps it’s both?

Logan taking delivery of a new 270 on behalf of his old man Phil. Had to take it around the breakwater to his fathers live aboard yacht. Very windy and choppy but no worries with the high bow and stability of the 270. Enjoy Phil

Easy as. Just throw it on the back of the truck. If it were an inflatable, you’d be worried about it chafing and puncturing it. Whaly - all the advantages of an inflatable without the worry and maintenance.

Just dropped off Mike’s new 370. He’s got it as a tender for his 70ft launch called Tiger. Circa Marine in Whangarei are fitting a custom cradle for it on the back of Tiger. Mike opted for a Tohatsu 20hp four stoke. Good choice! Pushes the 370 along beautifully. Quiet, smooth, and plenty of get up and go!
