Rotorua was a mixed bag of results. First race starting grid 23, making my way up to finishing 6th place. Second race I was spun up on the first corner and finished up towards the back of the pack. Third race I was running second place until I was spun out by another car and blew my gearbox.
Thanks to everyone involved in getting the car to the track each meeting, I couldn’t do it without you all.
How cool is the picture Gemma got of the car during the fireworks display tonight

Great night in huntly speedway last night.
We managed to get the flag 🏁 in race one. Race two we came 2nd and the 3rd race we had a DNF with a right rear tyre going flat.
I’m getting more comfortable and learning lots more about the car each time I’m in the seat.
Tonight we’re off to Rotorua speedways opening meeting for some more seat time.
Thanks to my crew, sponsors and supporters.

Great way to start our opening meeting for our 23/24 season started the weekend off at one of our sponsors worlds ends bar and restaurant watching the All Blacks game.
We then proceeded to Baypark speedways opening meeting with a second place in race with a flat right front tyre. Second race we started grid 14 ended up in a turn one push falling back to last managing to come back up to sixth with my bumper corner on my right front. Last race we’ll I only did one lap with the bumper corner tearing off and poping the right front tyre and resulting in a DNF.
All in all I’m happy with how I felt in the car and can’t wait to tweak the set up some more to suit my driving.
This week we have a big week in the shed getting the car ready for gisbourne speedways opening meeting.
I can’t thank my sponsors and crew enough with out them I wouldn’t be track side so a big thanks to them.

This is how excited Colton is to go racing tomorrow, unfortunately I’m not racing my self but two of crew are again with Jeff back in the super and kelvin back in the standard stock just to see the boys smiles and there’s family’s watching them race just make it so special why leave the cars in the shed right??
I’m so glad I’ve Been able to give back to these boys which for some is dreams but now a reality although they talk a big game they’re actually really good bastards give them some support and show them some concrete tommorow 😜
Personally I’m done for the season I need to focus on my self getting back to work before I can imagine getting back in a race car again and unfortunately this is a lengthy progress I don’t wish upon anyone... I’d really like to take this time to appreciate my boss Colin amrein for understanding this situation although it’s not the most convenient situation for you’re bussiness you still support me in this stupid sport being involved you’re self.
Also on another note I have decided to register both my cars to huntly this is a personal choice not a back stab at baypark or the busters just to put that straight, although baypark will always have my support and I’ll continue to be a social member to the club but now it’s time for a change for me to go forward in my racing both individually and as club mates and team mates so I’m definitely looking forward to this move some may hate and some will love but that’s entirely upto you👌.
Lastly thankyou to all my loyal sponsors, my crew,my friends and supporters I can’t wait to be banging bumpers again I’m sick of knitting at home might have to go to the RSA for some bingo and a pint or two 👍

I might be off racing for 8 weeks but the cars aren’t. Finally have both cars out together tonight at Baypark thanks to the boys Jeff in the 93M superstock and Kelvin in the 93M stockcar. You may see the boys at a few local meetings coming up while I’m out of action 🏁
Thanks to all my sponsors and crew, we wouldn’t be here without you all
