White Orchid Retreats for Women Spa day retreats, exclusively for women, held at a luxury NZ spa lodge.

Ridge Country Retreat is the home of White Orchid Day Spa Retreats. The main lodge has two beauty rooms and four luxury suites dedicated for the day spas. There are also two outside pools feed with geothermal water for most of the year. Our clients are women seeking a luxurious day spa experience in a geothermal setting with the option of staying overnight. We pride ourselves on providing a meticulously clean and tidy environment, where attention to detail is paramount.
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable housekeeper with a can-do attitude to be part of our team.
Responsibilities
• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Ensures RCR housekeeping standards are followed.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows RCR policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
Working Hours
This is a contracting role where you provide the service to Ridge Country Retreat as a self-employed entity, responsible for your own employment entitlements and benefits. The hours of work are flexible and will amount to approximately 5 per week initially, with potential to grow.
All cleaning products and equipment will be provided by Ridge Country Retreat.
Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills
• Previous experience in motel cleaning highly regarded
• Highly responsible & reliable

COVID-19 is a real and present danger to vulnerable members of our community. In the coming months, we can expect the current crisis that the northern hemisphere are suffering to be transferred here with the onset of winter. Ridge Country Retreat concur with the NZ government and firmly believe that the most effective way we can safeguard the health of our most valued clients is by being proactive in our response to this contagion.
While the risk of serious outcome to an infection by COVID-19 to the majority of our clients is regarded as being low, we are concerned that if a single person attending any retreat is infected with COVID-19, it would have ample opportunity to be passed to all attendees. These people would then return home to their families and potentially place a large number of vulnerable members of the community at risk.
As per the obligations required under Level 4 alert, Ridge Country Retreat has suspended all retreats, spa treatments and other public activities until further notice. Bookings are still taken to secure spots in retreats from June 2020, but please be aware that a retreat may not run due to COVID-19. Full refund of deposit will be paid in this circumstance.

White Orchid Retreats offer spa treatments by appointment. The retreat will buy all product required or come to an arrangement where the Beauty Therapist provides the product. The retreat will provide all amenities, linen and appliances. During retreats, it is expected that a Beauty Therapist will be fully booked from 1pm to 5pm, most days. Two more living areas added to the lodge for guests and residential quarters upstairs. Two more beauty treatment rooms and a complete makeover of the pool area.

Coming to the end of the construction now! Just the fitout, hooking up the heating system and some loose ends left. Looking forward to getting retreats underway soon!
