It’s finally finished and hanging in a beautiful Eastern Cape farm house near Nooitgedacht in the Stormberg mountains of South Africa. The scene is typical of the Stormberg with Rowan’s champion English Pointer ‘Spitfire’ winning the nationals in 2019.

Thank you Rowan for the faith and patience for the commission in capturing this special scene of an incredible dog. Great to see my other work hanging in your house. Beautifully framed.

My oil painting of the cattle muster in the South Isand of New Zealand is done. I will be taking it down to Queenstown in the next few weeks. What a privilege to paint this epic scene.
