As a nation, we observe on this day the Gallipoli landing on April 25, 1915, during World War 1.

On this day, we gather in solemnity to remember and honour the sacrifices of those who have served and fallen in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions around the world.

On this day, we also remember the sacrifices of the families of military personnel. They, too, carry a heavy burden when their loved ones leave our shores to fight for peace.

On this day, our national day, we reflect on the cost of the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy, as conflicts continue around the world.

To honour the memory of our nation’s fallen, let us do more than remember but ask ‘What will we do with our freedom, on this day, and every day?’

The JSC is changing its age group structure starting in 2027. Details on host city, event dates, and entry openings will be shared soon. This change will unify the youth divisions across The Classic and JSC.

Greatness Beyond The Arc

The Elite3 3-Point Contest at tonight’s JSC witnessed a rare moment of elite sportsmanship. Krystal Leger-Walker who officially topped the leaderboard, but after the final round, she used her time on the mic to speak on the “amazing game we love” in bringing all the fans of this game as a single community, and affirmed the incredible effort of Israel ‘Izzy’ Pani.

Modelling the values that has made her BSL Academy such a success, Krystal gifted the title to Izzy, recognizing his performance in emptying the racks of a championship-caliber, which it definitely was.

We join Krystal who set a new standard of elite professional sportsmanship that we can all emulate, and congratulate another champion Israel ‘Izzy’ Pani, our official JSC 2026 Elite3 Shooting Machine 3-Point Champion. Two shooters, one elite standard of excellence.
