Well done new member Anna Gapes on her 3rd place in the SW 6km race at Hamilton City Hawks XC Champs at Minogue Park, Hamilton today. Anna's time 27.19.

Also, Youngjong Jung ran the SM 9km placing 6th in 37.48

The Quax name returns to the black singlet. Theo Quax, son of NZ running legend Dick Quax, has been selected for the Road 5km in Copenhagen. Fifty years after his dad won Olympic silver over 5000m, Theo gets his shot on the world stage.

"It's an honour to don the black singlet for the first time." Quax said on his selection.
