It’s National Volunteer Week and today we’re celebrating Goz and Bez! 👏

Hamish (Goz) played 50 games for between 2014–2015 and 2019–2021, winning two titles along the way. Goz has three children playing for our juniors and when Beau began his rugby journey in 2018, Goz stepped into coaching his Under 6 Gold team. He hasn’t looked back and has been a dedicated coach to our junior teams ever since. In 2026, he was elected as our Junior Club President and also rejoined the senior club as Assistant Coach for the Men’s Premier team 😮‍💨

Craig (Bez) has been part of the whānau since pulling on the junior jersey in 1989! He then returned to play Senior Bs from 2016–2020. When his son Isaac joined, he stepped into junior coaching and has coached the now Year 4 Gold team since 2023. This year, Craig also took on the role of Junior Club VP and his business has been a sponsor for hoodies since 2022 🙌

Huge ngā mihi to these two for everything they have given to our club over the years. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and leadership you give to our tamariki and Raptors whānau 💙
