LAST SQUAD TRAINING OF TERM 3 – THIS SATURDAY
If you want to become a better competitor, Squad Training is where the work gets done.
At our recent Taekwon-Do tournament, all five of our top medalists, consistently attend Saturday Squad training. That’s not a coincidence. Extra time on the mats, higher-level training and working alongside other committed students produces results.
Next year, we want to build a strong TMAA competitive team capable of achieving at the highest level – and Saturday Squad will be the cornerstone of that development.
Parents, if your child has ambitions to compete, improve faster or simply see how good they can become, these are the sessions to get them to.
Last Squad of Term 3 – this Saturday.
Come ready to work.

Morning Nak Muay whanau,
I am testing our new TMAA Student Pathway app, so many of you will receive an invitation to join the Pathway app.
This app will give you access to your training syllabus, it's also where your coaches can leave feedback for you, or your child, to help them improve technique, what they might need to work on to grade, or just praise them for what they are doing well.
You will also be given grading dates here, those of you who are invited to grade, will also receive a second invitation to grade and will be able to pay the grading fee directly in the app.
If you encounter any glitches along the way, please let me know.
If you find the interface to be clumsy, please let me know and most importantly if you have any feedback on how we could improve your student journey utilising the TMAA Student Pathway app, please let me know.
All data shared in the app is private and confidential and meets all security and privacy act requirements.
Thanks for your help team.

Commitment builds Success!
ITKD Nationals Stories:
I just want to take a moment to celebrate the success of the Lenny family at the Taekwon-Do National Champs.
1 Family, 3 National Champions.
This doesn't happen by accident, these kids are at the academy training 5-6 days per week. Their commitment to their journey is unmatched, and that is why this beautiful family now has 3 National Champions under their roof.
I also have to point out that every champion, has incredibly supportive parents behind them, traveling around the country (last term 7 tournaments), without their support, these results would not be possible.
Thank you Manawa & Shaun, for showing such commitment to your kids development, celebrate their success, you should be very proud of them.
More Nationals stories to come...

Training Equipment Reminder
Just a quick heads-up team!
Over the past few months, we’ve been reminding our regular students that everyone needs to have their own training equipment once they’ve been training with us for a while.
There are two main reasons for this:
👉 Hygiene – personal training gear is always the best option when equipment is being used regularly.
👉 Trial students – the small amount of club gear we have is primarily there for new students who are trying classes and haven’t purchased their own equipment yet.
From next week, if a regular student needs to borrow club equipment, there will be a $5 daily equipment hire fee. Gear can be hired through reception before class and must be wiped down and returned after training.
All the training equipment you need can be purchased through reception, so if you're unsure what you require, have a chat with us and we'll get you sorted.
Thanks everyone for helping us keep our equipment clean, available for new students, and ready for those who genuinely need it.
