Hi there all. It's been a while since things changed for me at Configure and I have spent the last 6 weeks refocusing and setting new challenges . I have missed the tribe of Configure women , created by your energy and your enthusiasm to exercise together . Here is snap of Chrissie in Bali on holiday for ladies who have been asking for an update :) Looks like Chrissie is having an awesome time! Teleport us to the tropics pleeease...a cool 4 degrees this morning :). But that didn't stop the 6am ladies! Inspired by our members who make such an effort to stick to their routine!

A note to all members so you are in the know, with Chrissie away on holiday we will be having another instructor taking the 5.30 Power Fight time slot on Thursday 24th.
It will be similar to Power Fight - Fitness Inspired by martial arts.

When starting the gym or even a new exercise it's so important to learn the correct technique and form.
1 - to make sure you are starting off on the right foot with your exercise program and 2 - to help avoid injuries!
Squats and lunges are common exercises that need this.
Consulting professional help is always a good choice if you are unsure that is why we place a big importance on making sure you know how to use the equipment when you start and feel comfortable using it!
Personal training can be the thing that takes you to the next step on your journey and to help achieve the results you want.

For 80 mins of exercise. The results are pretty impressive!

Nuts and Nut Butters: The upside is that nuts are very protein-dense, between five and six grams of protein per ounce. The downside is that they’re also high in calories. Your best bet is to eat nuts and nut butters plain, without hydrogenated oils or lots of added sugar. Get dry roasted or buy them raw and roast them at home. You can grind peanuts into peanut better at some food co-ops and grocery stores or look for butters that clearly say “just peanuts” or “just almonds” plus perhaps some salt, on their labels.
