Awesome night at our annual Bay of Plenty awards ceremony!

Congratulations to all of our members that won awards, was awesome to see.

Josh, Matthew and Ansen (absent) for taking out the premier division Interclub, good job guys!

Well done to Sharon for winning the administrator of the year award, thank you for all the hard work you put into badminton for Bay of Plenty! 😁

And also a thanks to Matt and Josh for volunteer recognition, awesome to see you boys giving back to the community!

Well done to John from avenues badminton club and everyone else in the masters 2 team for winning Div 4 masters, good job guys!

Great job to Ryan (present), Priyash, Alex and Olivia from avenues badminton club and to the rest of their team for winning Div 2 U17 at the NZ junior championships at Palmerston North this year!

Excellent work to Sharon, Delwyn, Louise, Ethan, Matthew, Ansen and Josh from avenues, for being part of the team that won Div 4 Seniors and the team of the year award this year!

And special for mention to Ansen Bee for winning senior player of the year! Goodluck with your U19 NZ squad trials for 2026! 💪

Woohoo!! A number of Avenues Badminton Club members are participating in the NZ Masters Champs being held at QEYC Hall (Doubles day Friday and Mixed Doubles day Saturday). Feel free to come down to watch some great Badminton and support your club members!!

We have access again to Tga Boys College Gym so the Senior session badminton is now on again tomorrow evening (23rd September) 7.30pm to 9.30pm. 😁

2024 FINAL AFTERNOON OF PLAY FOR JUNIORS

We are having a fun afternoon box doubles tournament on Tuesday, 8th October at Tauranga Boys College Gym from 1pm to 5pm followed by pizza(5pm to 6pm)!!

This is our end of year finale for our players/members that normally attend our 6.pm to 7.30pm Junior Sessions! So just come along and play!

We unfortunately lose the Tga Boys College gym after this date for the rest of the year due to all the school exams.

Junior Club for 2025 will start on the first Tuesday in March (4th March 2025).
