🥏 Pro tip from the lost-and-found trenches:

Inked discs come home faster.

The single biggest predictor of whether a disc gets returned is whether the owner's name and contact info is on it.

We see it weekly on Disc-Connected: two identical discs found at the same course in the same week. One has "Tom 027 # # #" sharpied on the back. The other is blank.

Guess which one gets reunited.

Best practice:
🖊 First name + phone number on the underside of the rim
🖊 Metallic Sharpie for dark discs — they last longer
🖊 Re-ink every few months — sweat and friction wear them down

Disc-Connected does the heavy lifting when ink is missing, but ink + Disc-Connected = practically guaranteed return 🤝

2. Log it on Disc-Connected — brand, mold, colour, course
3. Done. The owner gets notified automatically if their lost-disc post matches.
