DUI Racing

Bit late but here’s a little season recap. Overall a good fun first season with a few highs and lows. A crash at the first round made us miss a couple rounds. But rebuilt from there and picked up a first race win at Taupo and had a few podiums after that and had some fun clean battles with everyone. Ended up P6 for the year.

Nationals was a bit difficult with a few car issues so was great to end on high with a podium in the last race and ended up 5th for the round.

Big thanks to the old man and everyone else who has helped us keep on track this year.

Looking forward to running it back next year hopefully for a full season.

Just got back from Round 3 of the NZ Six series at Hampton Downs.

Was a bit of a shambles to get there with the last minute call being made on Monday to head up to Auckland.

But even with that stoked with the results ended up 4th every session at a track I’d never done a lap at before.

Race 1 was fairly quiet just ran in no man’s land for most of the race. Race 2 had a great race with Brydon in the AU just got pipped at the line by 0.1 of a second.
Race 3 was reverse grid and ended up having some mega battles with a few cars.

Some great clean racing and the car finally ended up on the trailer intact which is all we wanted.

Hopefully should be back out for Taupo in a couple weeks.
