Old Boys Premier Netball Finals!

The biggest night of local netball on the calendar is finally here. The Premier finals are tonight!!

Get ready for an exciting night of Premier netball, with both of our Prem teams preparing to battle it out for gold!!

Both games are inside at Aorangi Stadium.

630pm - Old Boys Pride vs Geraldine High School A

730pm - Old Boys A vs Mackenzie Old Girls

Expect intensity and quality netball right from the opening whistle. Every possession, every turn over, every goal is so important! Everything these players have will be left out on court tonight!

Come in your Old Boys colours, rug up warm and bring your loudest cheers!

Supporters can expect a big night of Premier netball with everything to play for and our teams would love your support!

Old Boys Premier Netball Semi-Finals!

The stage is set for an exciting night of Premier netball, with both of our prem teams preparing to battle it out for a place in the grand final tonight.

Both teams take to the court at 5.55 up at Aorangi Stadium. Old Boys A vs Geraldine Old Girls 1 and Old Boys Pride vs Timaru Girls High School A. Both sides will know that there is no room for complacency, with a grand-final berth on the line and the intensity expected to lift from the opening whistle.

Come in your Old Boys colours, rug up and warm and bring your loudest cheers!

Having had an extremely consistent season these teams will be giving it their all out on court! The semi-final stage is where consistency throughout the season must translate into a complete performance when it matters most.

With only two grand-final spots available, every possession, turnover and shooting opportunity will count.

💙🤍 What a bittersweet post this is - as the season has come to an end for all of our JAB players! 🤍💙

On Wednesday 12th August 2026, we celebrated our Year 8 JAB teams with their final Old Boys prizegiving — and what a special evening it was. 🏉🏆

It has been absolutely amazing to watch you all grow, both as rugby players and as individuals. From those little Year 1 & 2 Rippers, through your Year 3–7 Tackler years, and now to at the end of our Year 8s — what a journey you have had! 🥹💙🤍

As a Club, we are incredibly proud of every single one of you, and we are truly honoured that you chose to play your rugby with Old Boys.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of the Old Boys family throughout your early rugby years. You have achieved some incredible things along the way, made friendships, created memories and grown into some pretty awesome young people. 👏🏼

One day, when you look back on these years, we hope you realise just how much you achieved. Give yourselves a massive pat on the back — you deserve it! 🙌🏼🏉

We celebrated our Year 8s with a pizza dinner, drinks and a delicious dessert bar, including some very yummy ice cream kindly donated by Tip Top Timaru — Thankyou! It was very popular! 🍦😋

There were awards, certificates, trophies and, of course, the very special Year 8 leavers hats. 🧢🏆

These hats were specially made for you as a little parting gift from Old Boys. A way for us to say THANK YOU for your hard work, dedication, determination and commitment throughout your years with our Club. 💙🤍

And now, the next chapter begins...

As you head off to high school and new rugby teams, we wish every single one of you the absolute best for the journey ahead. Whether rugby continues to be a huge part of your lives or you find new passions and adventures, we hope you carry with you the friendships, memories, lessons and experiences you have made here at Old Boys. 💙

Go out there, make yourselves proud, make your families proud, and most importantly — make this Club proud. 🏉💙🤍
